Delbert McClinton and Glen Clark have an interesting song named "Oughta Know." The refrain in the song goes, "sometimes I say 'yes' when I ought know." In written form the know is clearly meaning I ought to know better. But, as sung, there is an interesting play on words - I ought 'no', I ought to say no.
